the Growl Racing mobile application (“Growl Racing App” or “App”);
Growl Racing events, including Performance Pulse Expo, Performance Pulse On Tour and other events organised or operated by Growl Racing;

1. Information we may collect
The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with Growl Racing.

Event, ticketing and registration information

Some of this information may be collected by a third-party ticketing or registration provider and provided to Growl Racing for the purpose of administering the relevant event or service.
Exhibitor, vendor and sponsor information
If you apply to exhibit, trade, provide food or services, sponsor an event or otherwise work with Growl Racing, we may collect information including:

ABN or other business information;

Payment information
Payments may be processed using third-party payment processors, banks, ticketing platforms or other payment services.

Where payment card information is entered directly into a third-party payment service, Growl Racing does not necessarily receive or store your complete card details.
Growl Racing App profile information
If you use the Growl Racing App, we may collect information that you choose to enter into your profile, such as your:

profile image; and

Garage and vehicle information
Information that you voluntarily add to App features such as My Garage may include:
vehicle make;
model;
year;
vehicle images; and
other vehicle-related information you choose to provide.
Images and photos
If you choose to upload a profile image, vehicle image or other photo through the App, the App may request access to photos stored on your device.
The App only accesses images that you choose to select or upload.
We may also collect photographs or video at Growl Racing events where photography or filming is undertaken in connection with the event, subject to applicable requirements.
Notification information
If you enable push notifications through the Growl Racing App, the App may generate and store a device push-notification token.
This allows Growl Racing to send notifications such as:
event announcements;
reminders;
event information;
Growl Racing news; and
important App or event updates.
The App may also use device-level notification permissions and local notification functionality to provide reminders that you request.
Device and technical information
Limited technical information may be processed by Growl Racing or our technology providers when you use our website or App.

device platform;
browser or device type;
App configuration;
notification identifiers;
diagnostic information;
website usage information;
IP address or similar technical information; and
information reasonably required to operate, secure and improve our digital services.

Growl Racing does not sell personal information.

You may disable App push notifications at any time through your device settings.
Important operational communications relating to a booking, registration, event, purchase or service may still be sent where reasonably necessary.
5. Push notifications
The Growl Racing App may request permission to send notifications.
If notifications are enabled, the App may store an Expo push token or other notification identifier and associated technical information required to deliver notifications to your device.
You can choose whether to allow notifications when prompted by your device and can disable them at any time through your device settings.
6. Third-party platforms and service providers
Growl Racing uses third-party platforms and service providers to assist in operating our business, events, website and App.
These may include providers of:
event ticketing and registrations;
payment processing;
website hosting;
database and cloud storage;
mobile application infrastructure;
push notifications;
email and communications;
marketing and analytics;
forms and applications;
accounting and business administration; and
other technology and event-management services.
Information may be provided to or processed by these providers where reasonably necessary for them to provide their services to Growl Racing.
Some providers used in connection with the Growl Racing App may include:
Supabase – database, storage, administrative authentication, content management and backend services.
Expo – mobile application infrastructure and push-notification services.
Google Firebase / Firebase Cloud Messaging – services supporting the delivery of push notifications to Android devices.
Google Play – distribution of the Android version of the Growl Racing App and associated platform services.
These providers may process limited personal, device or technical information as necessary to provide their services.
Third-party providers have their own privacy policies and terms governing their handling of information.
7. Third-party ticketing, registration and payment services
Growl Racing may use external platforms to process event tickets, registrations, applications and payments.
When you provide personal information directly to one of these services, the third party's privacy policy and terms may also apply.

Push-notification tokens may be retained while notifications are enabled and may be disabled or removed when no longer required or valid.

We will process valid deletion requests within a reasonable period.
The standard Growl Racing App does not currently require ordinary users to create a login account. Administrative authentication is restricted to authorised Growl Racing personnel.
15. Children's privacy
The Growl Racing App, website and events are intended for a general automotive, motorsport and events audience.
Our digital services are not designed for the purpose of knowingly collecting unnecessary personal information from children.
Where information relating to a child is required for participation in an event, competition or activity, Growl Racing may require information or consent from a parent or guardian where appropriate.
If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child in circumstances where appropriate consent was required but was not obtained, we will take reasonable steps to address the situation.
