What a Day! Growl Racing No Prep Battle at Queensland Raceway
Wow — what an epic day at the Growl Racing No Prep Battle! A massive thank you to our racers, Show & Shine entrants, volunteers, families, friends, and of course, Queensland Raceway for hosting us.
The racing was wild, the Show & Shine lineup was absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere was electric! We’re incredibly grateful for the support and fantastic feedback — it means the world to us.
Unfortunately, the rain forced us to call off the finals part-way through, but as discussed with racers, we have distributed the prize money amongst those still standing!
A huge congratulations to all our Show & Shine winners and runners-up! And of course, shoutout to our amazing sponsors — we appreciate you more than you know.
We can’t wait to do it all again…

Performance Pulse Expo 2025: A Full-Throttle Celebration of Car Culture
On Sunday, 27 April 2025, the Brisbane Showgrounds transformed into a high-octane hub for automotive enthusiasts as the Performance Pulse Expo roared back into town. Hosted by GROWL RACING across the Exhibition Building and the Royal International Convention Centre, this year's event was bigger, louder, and more electrifying than ever before.
Showcasing an impressive lineup of Queensland's finest performance machines—from precision-tuned drift cars to drag strip dominators. The halls and surrounds buzzed with energy as fans explored the latest builds, snagged exclusive merchandise, and engaged with the experts.
Event Highlights
Live Entertainment: The expo featured dynamic performances from top Australian artists, including PEZ, Nick Skitz featuring Kidd Kaos, DJ Luke Mumby, and DJ Roweana Jayne, keeping the atmosphere charged throughout the day.
Competitions: Attendees enjoyed the spirited Miss Performance Pulse and Mullet Madness competitions, celebrating the unique flair of the car community. All day long, exhibitors amped up the action with epic competitions and prize giveaways,
Diverse Vehicle Displays: The expo showcased a stunning array of vehicles, including classic muscle cars, JDM imports, drift cars, Sexspec, drag and more, offering something for every automotive enthusiast.
Family-Friendly Activities: With a dedicated kid zone and engaging activities, families enjoyed a day filled with fun and excitement.
Culinary Delights: A variety of food trucks and vendors provided delicious options to keep attendees fueled throughout the event.

POWERCRUISE POWERPLAY
Growl Racing's Corty was out on the track on Saturday. Powerplay was awesome even if we didn't get as much track time as we had hoped. The calibre of cars and company was brilliant as usual, and everyone had a great time.

CRUISE THE NIGHT
Cruise the night was a great night out for Growl Racing. The BarraTina didn't get to have a run on the track as it was too wet but it picked up the Judges Choice "Plate Game Award" in the show and shine which was amazing! Huge credit to everyone involved in the build!
